Public profiles can be viewed in full by anyone. Private profiles remain discoverable, but only friends can view the full profile. City and state can be shown or hidden separately.

01Privacy controls
Privacy choices built into the app.
These controls are available from Privacy settings or while creating and editing a check-in.
Set visibility for each check-in
Choose Public, Friends Only, or Close Friends for each check-in. You can also hide an individual check-in from selected friends.
Control tags, invites, and blocks
Choose automatic or per-tag approval, limit invitations to friends, hide your name from pending invite lists until you respond, and manage blocked users.

Report what feels wrong. Know when to call for help.
Use the report action on supported profiles and content to send an issue for review. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Report people or content in the app
Profiles, messages, events, plans, comments, and check-ins can be reported with a reason and optional details for moderation review.
SyncUp is for adults 21+
Underage activity, harassment, threats, impersonation, unsafe content, and child-safety concerns can be reported. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are strictly prohibited.
